Ardmore has produced and installed 2500 bathroom pods for the Athletes Village in Stratford. The village will provide accommodation for thousands of athletes competing in the London 2012 Olympic Games, and will later transform into a lively residential community. The Ardmore-manufactured pods were produced on a ‘just-in-time’ basis for up to four plots with over 400 variants – a “major logistics challenge” which required close liaison with four different client teams, each with its own scheduling, delivery and installation methodology.
