Design and build main contractor Ardmore has been listed as one of the most active construction firms in the UK in a recent survey by Building Magazine. The survey listed the 50 ‘most active’ firms across ten specialist services, from foundations to H&V and from external walling to roofing.
Ardmore was the only company to feature in all ten specialist categories and also topped the list of ‘most active’ fit-out specialists. It made the top 20 for foundation, roofing and H&V services, the top 30 for M&E, Groundworks, Electrical and Mechanical services, and the top 50 for Frame and External wall services. Ardmore’s wholly owned M&E company, CPC Ltd, was also listed as the 4th most active M&E specialist.
Ardmore’s presence across all ten specialisms shows the extent of its in-house capability as main contractor, actively delivering a broad spectrum of services from its HQ in North London.
The Most Active Specialists Survey was based on the number of projects and project values between November 2010 and September 2011 courtesy of data provided by Barbour ABI. Ardmore’s projects during this period include the all new Jewish Community School (JCoSS), City Peninsula, Athletes Village, 150 Stratford High Street, and Corinthia Hotel London.
