Ardmore Sites Win Double at Considerate Constructors Awards

Ardmore is celebrating after two of its projects picked up honours at the Considerate Constructors national site awards.

The Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS), whose role is to improve the image of construction and reward those who are performing at the highest levels, presented a silver award for Canaletto and a Bronze Award for Camberwell Fields underlining Ardmore’s exceptional performance.

With an impressive score of 43, Camberwell Fields was rated ‘exceptional’ for Respecting the Community, Securing everyone’s Safety and Valuing the Workforce, with Scheme Monitor Peter Allen noting:

“Community Engagement is truly exceptional but this has been a hallmark from the very beginning. There was also a strong focus on bringing women into the construction industry and this has resulted in a number of successes.”

This is the second recognition by the Scheme for Camberwell Fields, which was recently featured on the Scheme’s Best Practice Hub for its

“exceptional and excellent dedication to considerate construction.”

Canaletto collected a prestigious Silver Award, having received a glowing report from the Scheme that highlighted its health and safety performance:

“The site presents an excellent impression which is complemented by the public facing team.

The site continues its outstanding safety performance and has recently achieved a milestone of one million RIDDOR free man hours. This is a significant achievement on which the site is to be congratulated”

Canaletto attained an ‘exceptional’ score for Securing everyone’s Safety and an ‘excellent’ score in each of the Scheme’s other criteria: Caring about Appearance; Respecting the Community; Protecting the Environment and Valuing the Workforce.

Awarding the project 42 points in their latest audit, the scheme monitor noted:

“This is an excellent site and in some areas, exceptional.”
