Pembury Circus scoops top award at LEAF Awards 2016

Pembury Circus has won a prestigious LEAF award, beating a stellar line-up of international entries to secure the “Best Mixed Use Development” Award.

The LEAF Award is the latest in a string of high profile awards for the project, which provides 268 new homes, a new community centre, nursery and shops arranged in five buildings set around a public open space, forming Hackney’s largest car-free development.

The LEAF Awards is an annual ceremony founded in 2001, which brings together leading architects, designers, developers and suppliers. The award recognises innovative projects and celebrates excellence in building around the world.
