Carlton House Starts to Rise Above Hoardings
Tue 16th Apr 2024East Putney residents will soon be welcoming a new addition to Upper Richmond Road as Carlton House, one of Ardmore and A2Dominion’s newest projects, starts to rise above the hoardings.
Developed by residential property group A2Dominion, Carlton House is a complex inner-city development in the heart of Putney, providing 73 new mixed-tenure apartments and several commercial units on the site of a former 1960s office block. 58 of the apartments will be available for market sale by FABRICA, A2Domionion’s private sale and shared ownership brand.
Ardmore has already started erecting the new building’s concrete frame following the completion of a new basement that will contain some of the new commercial space.
Ardmore recently concluded the contract after providing extensive pre-construction services to de-risk the logistically challenging site, which is located on a red route and has a legal right of access that runs through the middle of the site.
Prior to starting on site, Ardmore developed a logistics strategy with a neighbouring office building to maintain a direct access across the site whilst constructing the building above. Ardmore also worked closely with A2Dominion’s London Development team to enhance the viability of the façade and internal specification.
The scheme is due to complete Q4 2018 with a sales launch planned for February 2018.
