We have an award winning apprenticeship programme, and we actively support the Construction Ambassador program – training 28 ambassadors in the last year – establishing partnerships with several local colleges to offer tailored apprenticeship and our pre-apprenticeship programmes. Since starting our apprentice programme in 2011, we have recruited and trained 60 apprentices.

As a founder member of the Women into Construction campaign we have worked tirelessly to promote the construction industry to women of all backgrounds and of all ages across London, and we have supported 23 women through work experience placements and 20 into employment in the last year.

Our employment and skills team establish links between the project and local community interest groups, councils, and schools and colleges. These relationships give us the opportunity to engage with a substantial cross-section of the community: from primary school students, through those seeking employment within the construction industry, the long and short-term unemployed, or national political figures.
