Ardmore to hire 30 new apprentices in new year

With a direct workforce of over 2,000, Ardmore is a major employer in the construction industry and is currently on site with more than thirty projects across London.  It confirmed seven new major regeneration appointments in November, putting it at 4th place in the Glenigan construction industry league table, and as a result will be recruiting 30 new apprentices in the New Year.  They will need to be local residents in London Boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea, Hammersmith, Greenwich, Hackney, Enfield, Lewisham and Richmond.

Ardmore hosts Meet the Builder Day for first residents at Stratford Halo Scheme

First phase of Stratford landmark project complete

Ardmore Construction has completed the first phase of 150 High Street, Stratford – a major mixed tenure development for Genesis Housing Association.  On schedule, phase one provides 139 one and two bedroom flats in two seven-storey residential blocks (F&G), built around communal courtyards and overlooking the river and the Olympic site.  When the landmark regeneration project is fully completed in 2013 it will be home to around 2,000 people, with 704 new apartments in seven blocks and a mix of flexible commercial and artists’ workspace.

Portobello Square – Ardmore Construction Limited appointed

Catalyst Housing Ltd and its private developer arm, Catalyst by Design, have appointed Ardmore Construction Ltd as the main contractor for Portobello Square – the first phase of the Wornington Green Estate regeneration project.  Work will start in January 2012.

Works start on £26m Mildmay Regeneration Project – First scheme for Ardmore First Base Partnership under the HCA’s Delivery Partner Panel

Work is under way to regenerate a derelict site in Tower Hamlets that will deliver new homes and community facilities including a church, hospital, commercial space, children’s play area and public open space.  Ardmore First Base Partnership, (a joint venture between Ardmore Construction and urban regeneration and investment company First Base), is the delivery partner for the £26m Mildmay regeneration project in east London.   Read full article…
