Ardmore project manager awarded ‘Seal of Excellence’ at the 2017 NHBC Pride in the Job AwardsSun 18th Feb 2018
Ardmore’s Tayna Farrell was confirmed as one of the top site managers in London after being presented with a prestigious Seal of Excellence at the 2017 NHBC Pride in the Job Awards.
Tayna, who’s in charge of Phase 4 at Parkside, our multi-phase regeneration of the Heathside and Lethbridge estates in Lewisham, was awarded a Quality Award from the NHBC earlier this year after being selected from more than 16,000 site managers competing for the awards.
A Pride in the Job awards is one of the highest industry accolades a site manager can receive, recognising the UK’s best site managers who demonstrate exceptional standards in every aspect of their work on site.
Announced at a glittering ceremony in November, the awards judged site managers on their consistent attention to detail. The Seal of Excellence winners are hand-picked for their excellent standards on site, the honour represents a tremendous success for Tayna and her team.
Judging includes spot checks of the day-to-day running of the site. Each site manager is assessed across 38 areas of site management including their technical knowledge, consistency in the build process and leadership and organisational skills.
The Parkside development is the regeneration of Heathside and Lethbridge; two existing housing estates owned by the London Borough of Lewisham. As part of the larger six-phase regeneration of the Estate, Ardmore has been on-site since 2011, as the main contractor on Phases 2, 3 and 4, constructing over 600 units for Family Mosaic and Peabody.
