Ardmore shortlisted twice at the 2017 Women in Construction Awards

Thu 21st Sep 2017

We have been shortlisted for the third consecutive year at the 2017 Women in Construction awards. Eillish Kwai, employment and skills manager has been shortlisted for Mentor of the Year and Tanya Farrell, project manager at Heathside and Lethbridge makes the list for Project Manager of the Year.

The Awards showcase the brightest and the best female achievers in the construction and built environment industries, and both of our nominees were put forth for their respective categories. To qualify to be shortlisted for Project Manager of the Year and Mentor of the Year, the entries were judged against four key criteria;

  • delivering projects on time, on budget with superb quality
  • collaborative working resulting in unexpected savings for the end user
  • good supply chain management with actions taken to reduce the project’s carbon footprint
  • inspire, nurture and educate the next generation

This is not the first time that we have been recognised at these awards. In 2013, we were awarded a special commendation certificate from Women in Construction who were very grateful to Ardmore for offering various opportunities throughout their supply chain for women either in manual trades, professional or apprenticeships.

Now in its 11th year, the Women in Construction Awards takes place on Wednesday 1st March 2017.
