Mildmay Hospital reaches major milestoneThu 21st Sep 2017
The team at Mildmay Hospital have kicked off 2017 by successfully delivering their second handover.
The completion of 43 residential units in three blocks follows their first handover of 61 residential units and a specialist hospital over two years ago. With just one section left, including 31 units and a church, the scheme is due to complete in Q2 2017.
Mildmay Hospital is a significant mixed-use development in Shoreditch, East London providing 139 apartments together with over 3,000sqm of non-residential accommodation including a church, hospital and commercial space.
A significant part of the development included the provision of the new Mildmay Hospital, a 26-bed hospital specialising in the care of people with HIV.
As well as two new wards, the new hospital, which is built on the site of the historic hospital made famous by Princess Diana, includes a new physiotherapy room and gym, OT assessment room, therapy rooms, kitchens, IT training room, dining room and new Day Services room.
