Hornsey Road Baths was constructed on behalf of the Grainger Trust. The £36 million scheme included 262 mixed tenure residential apartments, the refurbishment of community facilities and a brand new office block for Islington Borough Council. The scheme achieved a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating to the delight of Islington Borough Council and was completed in December 2008 after a contract period of 80 weeks.
As well as receiving ‘Best Employee’ award from Islington Borough Council, the scheme also registered on the Considerate Constructors Scheme demonstrating Ardmore’s commitment to its environmental responsibilities.
