We swapped our desks for shopping carts and took on the Hackney Foodbank Supermarket Sweep! Our teams started the day out touring the warehouse and received a shopping list with the foodbank’s most-needed items. We raced through the shopping aisles and purchased as many of the items on the list as possible to return to the food bank.
We collected 312kg of food, equalling 403 meals for people in our community facing food insecurity.
Hackney Foodbank does incredible work, supporting 750 people weekly and distributing over 260,000 meals in 2024 – that’s £40,000 worth of food every month! Their impact is massive, and we’re honoured to play a small part in their mission.
