8 Eaton Lane

8 Eaton Lane, Grosvenor Gardens House, involves the sensitive restoration of the existing Grade-II listed mansion block on Eaton Lane to create 42 super-prime residences, ranging from one-bedroom to five-bedroom duplexes, with a luxury interior design that takes inspiration from the building’s rich history.

Our work includes the careful deconstruction of large section to the rear of the buildings to allow for a new basement extension, as well as major structural interventions to the remaining building and meticulous restoration of the Parisian façade.

The structural alterations are particularly challenging given the number of sensitive local stakeholders. To minimise disruption to neighbours we have constructed a free-standing ‘acoustic screen’ and an ‘acoustic tunnel’, which fully encapsulates the rear of the building and our loading and unloading operations, helping to shield neighbours from any noise generated during the works and minimise the impact the works have on the local community.

In addition to the new residences, Ardmore will deliver world-class amenities, including a pool, gym, business suite, grand reception, residents’ lounges, spa with sauna and steam room, and private cinema room.
