Hackney Yards

‘Hackney Yards’ includes the design and construction of four new blocks of the Hackney Wick Masterplan to provide 190 residential units and over 40,000sqft of commercial space. The new blocks are split across three sites around Hackney Wick Station and include over-station elements.

Rising up to 8 stories, the brick-clad blocks will provide 190 mixed-tenure affordable units, 31 of which will be affordable rent and 159 units available for shared ownership. Each block will be set within three architecturally distinctive plots with high specification interiors to match.

The project also features over 40,000sqft of high-quality commercial space, including retail, community facilities, leisure space, low-cost workspace, landscaped public realm, roof terraces and podiums.

The design of the scheme reflects the character around Hackney Wick Station and its reputation as a creative quarter.
