Holland Park Gate is a luxury collection of residential units in Kensington, West London. The mixed-use scheme includes 106 apartments, a private spa and wellness centre, private offices and a multi-screen cinema on the site of the former Odeon cinema, opposite the Design Museum.
As the main contractor on Phase 1 of the scheme, we are delivering the design and construction of 61 super-prime residential units (five of which will be penthouses) as well as a new basement, a shell and core office space, cinema, amenity space and spa.
As part of the Phase I works, we have completed the 4-storey site-wide basement, which including residents shared / communal facilities, an automated car stacker, and 6 publicly accessible boutique cinemas.
Once an Art Deco cinema, Holland Park Gate’s striking façade re-creates the original cinema entrance onto Kensington High Street, whilst the rest of the facade is a profiled stone, cut into waves reminiscent of the heavy curtains that would once have covered the screens.
