The comprehensive transformation of the historic Forum Hotel on Cromwell Road will revitalise one of London’s most recognisable hotels. We are delivering the extensive refurbishment, which includes an ambitious redesign and fit-out of the hotel’s 903 guest rooms and extensive public spaces, providing a modern hospitality offer while respecting the building’s original character.
Key elements of the transformation include significant structural enhancements. These involve reinforcing the building’s existing structural core and replacing the current two-storey rooftop plant area with a new rooftop extension, which will house a panoramic bar and restaurant on the 28th floor.
A key part of the project also involves refreshing the hotel’s exterior, including replacing the existing windows and clean the façade, helping restore the building’s grandeur. Modern curtain walling will be installed on the ground floor and rooftop extension, adding contemporary elements that blend seamlessly with the existing building’s striking architecture.
We are also overseeing critical infrastructure improvements that will enhance both the efficiency and sustainability of the new hotel. We are installing new lifts to improve accessibility, and entirely new mechanical and electrical systems will support the hotel’s long-term operational needs. These updates are designed to meet modern energy efficiency standards, ensuring the hotel operates sustainably while maintaining optimal comfort for guests.
One of the most exciting aspects of the project is the complete reimagining of the hotel’s front-of-house areas and guest amenities. The new design will introduce a range of features, including a luxury spa, pool, and gym.
