Our team at West Cromwell Road volunteered at the Dalgarno Food Bank in Kensington and Chelsea, supporting the fantastic work carried out by the Delgado Trust.
Operating every week, the food bank provides essential support to local residents and relies heavily on donations, fundraising, and volunteers. Beyond food provision, the Delgado Trust delivers a wide range of community initiatives, including youth activities, sports and drama programmes, mother-and-baby groups, gardening and sewing sessions, and mental health and wellbeing support.
The day began with helping to receive and organise deliveries, sorting food and toiletries into categories to ensure efficient distribution. In the afternoon, the team supported the distribution of food parcels and had the opportunity to see first-hand the positive impact the food bank has within the local community.
We are looking forward to returning on the 25th of June to continue supporting the Dalgarno Food Bank in their vital work.
