The Garden Classroom

Over the past two days, colleagues from several of our sites came together to get their hands dirty for a good cause: supporting biodiversity and improving public green spaces for all!

We partnered with The Garden Classroom at Newington Green, where we spent the morning pruning, weeding, planting flowers and shrubs, and creating mulch, all to help nurture this vital urban garden space.

Located in Islington, the second most densely populated local authority in England and Wales, The Garden Classroom is doing essential work. With only 13% green space and 71% of residents without access to a private garden, their mission is to make nature accessible to everyone, not only for wellbeing, but to foster respect and care for the natural world.

A huge well done to everyone who volunteered! We’re proud to support local initiatives that give back to the community and the environment.
