Celebrating Women in Construction
This International Women’s Week, we celebrated the incredible women within our team who are shaping the built environment and inspiring the next generation.
Their journeys highlight the wide-ranging career paths within construction, from legal and design management to project administration and surveying. Their experiences also underline the importance of continuous learning, resilience, and collaboration in an industry that is evolving for the better.
Meet some of the Women Making an Impact at Ardmore
- Joanne is a project surveyor who has been with Ardmore for almost a decade, specialising in cost management and contract negotiation to help deliver successful project outcomes
- Alex is a project administrator and mental health coach, fostering a supportive and well-balanced site environment for her teams
- Clara is a senior design manager who made the transition from architecture and is now leading some of our design teams and driving innovative design solutions
- Georgia is a barrister with extensive experience in construction law, ensuring legal clarity and strategic oversight for complex projects
- Ella started her career in psychology and recruitment before joining construction, bringing fresh perspectives and a passion for industry-wide improvement
By sharing some of these success stories throughout the week, we hope we can encourage more women to explore the wide range of opportunities available within the construction industry.
