Chapter House is an intimate collection of 40 contemporary residential apartments and 3 mews houses within a restored Victorian building in the heart of the Seven Dials Conservation area in Covent Garden. The building brings together modern architecture, luxuriously detailed interiors and outstanding resident amenity areas, behind a retained brick façade.
The original building, known as Parker House, was built in the 1890s by the London County Council as a lodging house. The original architects were Gibson and Russell, a team known for their mild-baroque style. Gibson most famously went on to design the Middlesex Guildhall, home of the Supreme Court.
The original buildings were not statutorily listed, but are within Camden’s Seven Dials Conservation Area.
As part of the redevelopment, the street elevation of Parker House has been retained, with the demolition of all structures behind to create a new basement and six-storey residential block and three new mews houses.
The luxurious, individually designed apartments feature rich finishes and high-end features throughout, including bespoke feature joinery, including vanity units and lacquered wardrobes were produced in-house by our own joiners.
