Ardmore’s Canaletto scheme awarded top marks by the Considerate Constructors Scheme

Ardmore has been highly commended by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) for its Canaletto project in City Road.

The CCS aims to improve the image of construction whilst also rewarding those in the industry who are performing at the very highest levels.Scoring an impressive 42 from of a possible 50, Ardmore was praised for its exceptional performance in consideration of respecting the community and protecting the environment.

As an associate member (of the CCS), all of Ardmore’s projects are registered with the CCS and operate in accordance with its stringent guidelines.

Derek Monnery, scheme monitor, from the CCS said:

“Community is exceptional. The company (Ardmore) has overcome a lot of local opposition to the project by being proactive in employing local labour and assisting with local charities.”

“Environment is also exceptional with the site performing well in excess of CCS requirements.”

Ardmore’s notable performance underlines its commitment to be at the forefront of industry best practice.

In addition, the Canaletto site was scored as being ‘excellent’ in consideration of securing everyone’s safety, caring about appearance and valuing the workforce.

The £60m contract will see Ardmore deliver 190 high specification private residential units. The project comprises a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom apartments, which includes penthouse apartments and a terrace space for the use of residents. Within the basement area there will also be a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium and cinema.
