Scape Greenwich nominated for New London Architecture Award

Wed 1st May 2024

We are delighted that our Scape Greenwich project has been shortlisted for a New London Architecture Award under the Housing category. With 298 contemporary student-rooms, Scape Greenwich provides students with a first class open plan building, designed around their study and living needs. The project is one of the first plots to be completed on the Greenwich Peninsula, alongside our City Peninsula and Platinum Riverside schemes for Bellway Homes.

Scape Greenwich consists of two vault-topped blocks connected at ground floor level, and makes the most of innovative off-site manufacturing to maximise construction efficiency.

Using our own pre-fabricated bathroom pods and precast concrete panels with integrated windows for the envelope, we have been able to deliver against a challenging programme that saw us handover the first block 11 months from breaking ground.

Being shortlisted at the awards continues Ardmore’s recent success in the student accommodation sector, following last years’ National Student Housing Survey ‘Best Individual Accommodation’ award at our recently completed Goodenough College scheme in Bloomsbury.

The NLA Awards, which recognise the very best in architecture, planning and development in the capital, will be announced at NLA’s Annual Lunch on Wednesday 9th July.
