Cambridge House is the transformation of the Grade I listed former ‘In and Out’ club on Piccadilly. We are delivering both the complex cut and carve structural work to increase the size of the existing building and the sensitive restoration of the building in keeping with its original architectural design, into a 102-key luxury hotel and 7 super-prime residences.
Three historic buildings on the site will be restored or refurbished and enjoyed once again; the Grade I listed Cambridge House and Grade II listed 90-93 and 95 Piccadilly. Adjacent sites on Half Moon Street, White Horse Street and Shepherd Market are also part of the development.
Centred around the historic, Palladian mansion with its portico and ballroom, the complex scheme combines restoration, retention and new build. The team are working in close consultation with Westminster City Council’s conservation officer and Heritage England.
Once complete, Cambridge House and its townhouse mansion will be transformed into a boutique hotel, complete with new restaurants, bars, lounges and spa, alongside seven private residences.
The works include the formation of a new multi-storey basement, acoustic isolation measures, restoration of retained roofs and façades and new infill sections to match, as well as luxury internal fit-out – designed by Jean-Louis Deniot who is known for his luxurious and eclectic, yet contemporary interiors.
